Broken ear on mast base. I was surprised to discover replacements are still available, so I ordered one. This one has been broken for years, and I haven’t suffered any adverse effects, but since they’re available I want to replace the broken one before the SHTP.

Finally! My first attempt at a double braid eye splice. I’m sure this gets easier if you do it every day, but it took me a while to get it.
