Well . . .

This isn’t my year for the SHTP.  The Anchor Canvas transaction (see below) didn’t pan out as we’d expected, so we started a competing company.  Tradewinds Canvas Works opened April first in the Port Townsend Boat Haven.  We design and fabricate custom marine canvas, so if that’s something we can help you with, give Naaman Jones a call at (360) 301-0014.  We’ll have a website up soon.

Anyway, that’s where my time and SHTP budget went this year.  The silver lining is that most of the prep work is done now for 2014.  I’ll be following the race at  http://singlehandedtranspac.com/, where you too can check out the racers and follow their progress.
